An easy read with so much meat to take home from the first chapter to the very last that keeps you wanting to read it over and over again. The book explores the beauty and Truth of creativity and its rooted ties to theology and the Creator. “All That Is Made” voices out exactly what I’ve been feeling for years about creative things and Jesus at the same time. I love how prayers were incorporated on the first parts of the book bringing a conversational piece to the story, and it continues to progress with talks of humanity as a creative ultimately leading us to the life of Jesus and our part in it. I love how honest and inviting this book is. After reading this book I feel so inspired, refreshed, comforted, and ready to make new things all for God’s glory!

“Alabaster’s work we all know is both engaging and beautiful. But All That Is Made provides a deeper way of both theological thinking and creative spiritual reflection!
I love how Alabaster shines light on the creatives of our culture while equally challenging the believer to use these creative gifts for God’s glory! As it says in the book, “As creatives, We are called to bring the invisible, intangible qualities and attributes of the Kingdom into this visible world.” How incredible is this truth? I felt both challenged and spurred on for this to be true in my life as a creative!
My favorite thing about this book are the prayers at the end of chapter in italics. Not only are they beautiful and simple, but they were also so helpful for me to ask God for help in the areas of purposelessness my creativity lacks. They also helped me have excitement and tangible steps for moving forward.
This book is not just aesthetically pleasing to look at, but even more so deeply encouraging for your soul! I can’t wait for the world of creatives to get their hands on it!
