Not only are these books so aesthetically pleasing - they make great coffee table books, which turn into conversation starters when you have friends over, but they are also very refreshing during my quiet time and morning coffee.

This book opens with an artist introduction the sets up a powerful imagery with the major themes and its relevancy today. What I most love about this design is the depiction of colors representing the major theme of the Bible. I love the ash-gray colors symbolizing judgement and rebellions against God, while the color pink symbolizes hope and salvation. That contrast is just genius!

“I'm a fan of all my Alabaster books but this one just might be my favorite. I love the imagery His words are paired with and how it's broken up from page to page. The landscapes and simple raw photos remind me of the beauty in this world. I read slower and digest differently than I would my other Bibles where the words never seem to stop. It's a refreshing experience in reading His Word and I've noticed I take more pauses to reflect and rest in what I'm reading.
I've even started reading it out loud to my 11 week old in the morning with my coffee. The pages and colors are fun for both us :) Also super easy to slip into a purse or bag if your traveling and going to a coffee shop!
