The Book of Isaiah Softcover / New Living Translation (NLT) Reviews

5 Rating 231 Reviews
With their latest release, the Book of Isaiah, Alabaster has another excellent entry into their beautiful Bible series. The entire text of Isaiah is presented over the course of 232 pages using the New Living Translation. Captivating, high-resolution photos are on nearly every page. But they do not steal the show away from the Biblical text. Rather, they showcase Scripture and draw your gaze to read God’s Word. This volume is designed to be adored as a work of art. But it is a work of art that is also meant to be engaged. I have been stuck in my Bible reading plan, but I found myself enjoying and finally ending my read through the book of Isaiah with Alabaster. And I can’t wait to revisit it again.

I can’t say enough how incredible alabaster is. I only dreamed there would be a creative somewhere on Earth that would take art and put it together with scripture. Not only is it ascetically pleasing - but it’s intentional. I see meaning in each page with the passage right by it. Another amazing thing is that I love to leave them out in my living room - whenever my friends see them they are so curious and can’t help but pick them up - really cool for people who don’t know Jesus so see something so relatable. I can’t say enough how much I love these bibles. And I’m so grateful to be apart of the alabaster influencer program & have received a complimentary copy. Thank you so much !

Alabaster never ceases to amaze me. The artistry and detail that it met in each and every one of their designs is a blessing to all who read or even flip through the pages. I had received a copy of the book that was complimentary through the Alabaster Influencer Program so I was able to get a solid sneak peek at the beauty that is brewing. So excited for this! 10/10 recommend.

I have a confession to make: I have been stuck in the book of Isaiah since the Christmas season. I paced my Bible reading plan to land on the book of Isaiah during the holidays because I heard it was an excellent one to read. It would help point me to the King of Christmas. Unfortunately, I never made it through. I just wanted to get it over with. The Bible Beautiful Unbeknownst to me, Alabaster had been working on their next beautiful Bible book. After releasing the Gospels, Psalms, Romans, Proverbs, and Genesis, their fans were wondering what they would release next. When I heard that Isaiah would be the next in line, I knew I had to get my hands on it to help me. I have been following Alabaster for quite some time. I heard about them through an online article interview and I was hooked on their love for Bibles and beauty. They explore the intersection of creativity, beauty, and faith by creating iconic Bibles, books, and notebooks. I value their vision to see all of humanity experience God as good and beautiful. Art in Isaiah With their latest release, the Book of Isaiah, Alabaster has another excellent entry into their beautiful Bible series. In a format more reminiscent of a premium glossy magazine or a gorgeous coffee table book, the entire text of Isaiah is presented over the course of 232 pages using the New Living Translation. Captivating, high-resolution photos are on nearly every page. But they do not steal the show away from the Biblical text. Rather, they showcase Scripture and draw your gaze to read God’s Word. As explained in the artist introduction by co-founders Brian Chung and Bryan Ye-Chung, the photos were specifically chosen to reflect the themes that are found in Isaiah. Judgment is symbolized by repeating ash-like gray colors, and photos of torn paper reflect Israel’s rebellion towards God. Pink portrays hope and salvation, while candles call our attention to a coming king who will bring good news. Isaiah with Alabaster Available as a softcover, hardcover, or as part of the complete collection of 9 beautiful Bible books, this volume is designed to be adored as a work of art. But it is a work of art that is also meant to be engaged. I found myself enjoying and finally ending my read through the book of Isaiah with Alabaster. And I can’t wait to revisit it again. My copy of the Book of Isaiah was complimentary through Alabaster’s Influencer Program.
