“I do think that this book could’ve used less pictures... of course they were all absolutely stunning and thoughtful, but I believe the pictures should compliment the text (tastefully), rather than the text complimenting the pictures. The text, and God’s Word above all, should be the main feature with the art coming in as a secondary. I do think they are beautiful though and the artists did a great job thoughtfully using them to illustrate text, whether literally or by being abstract. As always, Alabaster put an incredible creative spin on another book and it looks beautiful. Just would’ve changed a few things in my own honest opinion. Love the book of Ecclesiastes!”
