I purchased the Gospels for my daughters for Mother's Day. They are beautiful books and will be a great addition to their coffee table!

I love the Gospel of Mark because it's very direct. It's the only gospel that opens with the baptism story, and in the baptism story, we discover Jesus' solidarity with humanity.

What a beautiful book of Mark, leading me into deeper worship by allowing me to slowly envision the gospel as I read through the scriptures. The book is gorgeous and meaningful.

This book is very well designed and I absolutely love the Alabaster brand. I love reading along and how it doesn’t feel like a traditional Bible. There is so much room and it gives a very calming reading experience. I’m sure I’ll be picking it up again soon.

It was great to see the visual art enhancing the text of the Gospel of Mark. At first, I was concerned about the inverted photographs thinking that I had gotten a flawed print of the text. However, I began to realize that Jesus was proclaiming a kingdom that would turn our world on its head. Every value that we have is upturned and upended by the advent of the Kingdom of God. The king comes as a suffering servant and His Kingdom brings conflict to our current world as it seeks to destroy sin and its hold on our world.
