“Got this as a gift for my girlfriend. Her and her family love it. The photos and art in the book are purposely chosen to fit the passages you're reading, and they are beautiful.”
“The Gospel of John was printed using predominantly gray tone photos. It feels lifeless and cold, even foreboding. The Bible declares that Jesus is ALIVE, but Alabaster Co. failed to convey that message. The book of John should reflect life, love, and warmth. I really-really wanted to love this, but I just don’t.”

“The print in this is way way too small. Even my daughter in law who is in her 30s had trouble reading it. I am very disappointed because I had plans to buy many more. Liked the translation and idea.”

“I love the concept of these Bibles, but for the price paid I found the execution a bit lacking. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I expected stunning, exceptional images and printing based on the premise of beauty and art and creation and so many positive reviews. I think some of the sharpness and clarity of the images was lost in the printing, and some of them were a little dark, making hard to discern the subject. I was hoping these books would be the sort that would be good to put on a coffee table, so that people might want to flip through it be drawn in by the beautiful, glossy pictures and then read a couple verses while they were at it. Unfortunately, the pictures weren't as captivating as I had hoped due to the resolution/lighting of some of the pictures. Some of the books were better than others in this regard. I would suggest perhaps making larger print editions of these Bibles as well; I thought when ordering them that they would make a perfect gift for grandparents, but the size of the text would make it difficult for the elderly to read. The books were packaged for shipping and gifting very nicely; our mail man left them on the porch in the snow and rain, but the books were still safe and undamaged.”

“Shipping was FAST - product is beautiful. I think that it really reflects what the Bible is, without taking away the integrity of what the Bible is. Beautiful, useful - perfect coffee table book and conversation starter, or book to add to your collection for true reflection on what the Bible is for us. Also, you can never go wrong with John —— the perfect love letter to us.”
