“What I love most about this set is that all four gospels tell the same story from different perspectives. It is so nice to have them combined into one book and read about the life of Jesus. The book goes through each of the four gospels and contain beautiful pictures throughout to complement the text. They are the perfect coffee table book but with scripture! “I’ve been a huge fan of Alabaster Co. products for a year now. This set does not disappoint. I truthfully love the illustrations in this Gospel Set. As a creative and visual learner I find it hard to retain the Bible when just reading it. This set has really strengthened not only my belief but also made me feel more known as a believer who doesn’t find it easy to use my creative mind within traditional Bibles.
I will say that I do not recommend using this as your main Bible. I love reading the Gospels this way in a more casual manner or for a reference, not for study purposes. It reads like a magazine too which makes it a bit different than a traditional Bible.
My only complain is some of the pictures I wish I knew more about or why they chose that picture for that passage which can be kind of distracting from the text, but it also can be really helpful to mediate on the text.
Overall I highly recommend. I own this set in digital format as a partner with Alabaster.”
