The print quality is amazing as always! The photos were beautiful. One of the sentences in the book that is still making me think is the idea that rest increases our capacity to empathize, something I really need to work on.

Each one of the books I have ordered have been refreshing in that letting me encounter God in new ways through the same text but the experience is new! I would also say restoring in that my creativity has been restored and boosted again through reading these many books!

"Resting means acknowledging things will be missed, lost, and broken in our absence, but that we will emerge afterward still whole, loveable, and loved. " We all need to learn to rest, especially in a time where everything and everyone is rushed or express. The Sabbath teaches us to rest- to not work. Not as a punishment but as a gift. Choose to rest, just as God did in Genesis 2: 3 Towards Rest teaches us the importance of rest, to not neglect all the cues our bodies give us. My copy of the book was complimentary through Alabaster's Influencer Program**
