“I haven't been a massive fan of structure Bible study books, so when I got my hands on this Bible study as part of Alabaster's influencer program, I had my doubts as to how I would like it. They blew me away, I have always been impressed with the visuals Alabaster puts into their books, but the curation for each story and section within this book is something else. The visuals pair so perfectly with the stories and the meaning of how they integrate into my life is powerful!”

“I love everything about this guide. It truly is the perfect companion with your daily devotionals in the Bible. I love the theme that coincide with each Biblical character and my favorite part is the Reflection pages where it allows us to pause, ponder, and pray after every section. This guide is not only beautifully designed but every page is intricately well thought of. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Alabaster’s influencer Program. Personally this book has deepened my devotional time with Lord in a fresh new way. Thanks again for such a wonderful piece of work Alabaster Co!”

“Now that Alabaster Bibles have been around for a while, I can confidently say that they have "beauty" and "art" down to a science. It is their true identity and brand. When describing all of their products, these words are expected to pop up and be used in the description. Can the same be said about their new The Good and Beautiful Bible Study? "Yes," by the looks of it. But I require more than "beautiful" and "art" for my Bible studies; I require depth. The pages of this Bible study are beautiful and artistic, as expected, though they are lacking in the larger landscape photographs that tend to dominate their Bibles. Instead, readers are treated to smaller paintings that seem to be carefully chosen and connect well with the topic. Alabaster offers 30 Bible study topics to choose from. I appreciate their straightforward advice on how to use the study: read, reflect, pause, ponder, and pray. I like how relatable the topics are and how they challenge you to go deeper in your faith journey while also assisting you in considering how the Gospel message is relevant today. The chapter "The Story of John the Baptist and the Crowd," for example, helps give the reader a three-dimensional view of John the Baptist's character as someone who "demonstrates a radical boldness to call people to the type of ethnics that Jesus lives out." A couple sentences earlier, audiences were hit with thoughtful and thought provoking questions: “When we see injustice and suffering in the world, how often do we call out the perpetrator? Do we remain silent and complacent? When we remain silent, it may be out of a desire for peace. However, more often than not our silence helps the perpetrator and leaves victims feeling more alone and forgone.” Other chapters pose similarly challenging questions. For example, in the chapter, “The Story of Hagar,” readers are told and asked, “the story of Hagar urges us to ask questions on who we choose to value and bring to the center of our own narratives. Who is the last? The lost? The least? The lonely? The mistreated? Do we see these people?” Do yourself a favor, and pick up this Bible study. It truly is good and beautiful. **My copy of the book was complimentary through Alabaster's Influencer Program**”
