The Book of Hebrews Softcover / New Living Translation (NLT) Reviews

Hebrews has been a little confusing for me at times. This translation was so clear and I understood the book of Hebrews so clearly! In fact, I bought two more to give as gifts. I’ve always been happy with each Alabaster I’ve purchased. I’m reading Jeremiah now. Thank you for an outstanding product!

This is a modern approach to reaching the current generation, I love the uniqueness that Alabaster channels for their books of the Bible. The imagery used really captivates the audience and draws the reader to want to turn the pages. The character and line spacing is just right, allowing the reader to soak in the words upon each page without getting overwhelmed. It pulls in a modern twist of soft back magazine nostalgia to a timeless piece that is the Bible in itself.

I particularly feel challenged by The book of Hebrews chapter 6 verse7 and 8. The metaphor used as the farmer's field being blessed during a rain season and useless when if doesn't bear fruit. Personally it reminds how often as humans we rejoice in God's plan through good times and achievements, yet we all avoid hardship. Naturally God is with us through both times and HE is using even the hard times for our own good. Alabaster team does a wonderful job with this book. The verses are spread out on the pages filled with stunning and creative photographs. I think everyone would enjoy reading and meditate on the messages of the book. The visuals will help the reader reflect of the words.
