Flipping through the pages it is easy to see that the paper, colors, and binding is all high quality. But while the formatting of the photos and text is great, the thought and intentionality of the photo placement is even better. The visuals perfectly correspond with the text in a way that is meaningful, contemplative, and beautiful. I found myself moved to tears a few times while reading about the crucifixion/resurrection and reflecting on the corresponding visuals. The photos moved me in a way that text itself cannot. I'm excited about the conversations about art and faith that Alabaster will help facilitate in the future!”
