“The quality of the books are definitely top-notch, and I enjoy being able to read the passages while also using the pictures for further pondering and illustration. However, it's not fully what I expected in terms of the pictures, as I was hoping the pictures to always correlate with the passage on the page, rather than general themes of the book. Focusing particularly on Proverbs, for a book full of colorful and descriptive imagery I felt like this would have been a good opportunity to specifically illustrate those concepts through the pictures instead of remaining higher level; sometimes the pictures felt a bit esoteric to me. Nevertheless, I'm still a fan of what Alabaster Co is doing and enjoy what I've received.”
