I give the Aleko AC1400 a 5 star rating. I got it installed fairly easy, had a little problem with the Magnet switches but I overcame the problem and I am very satisfied with the installation and the product.

Works great when working. Very convenient . But sometimes the remotes don't work when on the other side of the gate when you want to come back in. My back gate opens to the school my child goes to. When the gate doesn't open. She is forced to walk around the block to get home. Otherwise, My gate is very heavy and the motor is very strong. Opens smooth and with ease.

It's good for its price and the customer service isn't bad neither. I had some problems but the customer service helped resolved it. Now it works well!

I just finished installing one of these gate openers and I must say it was straight forward and easy for the most part. I must say though there are a few things I didn't like to be honest.1. I would not use the intended anchoring bolts as I think they are too tiny and feeble. I made an 18 inches deep by 12 inches wide solid concrete platform for the the motor. I used 3/4 inch expansion bolts.2. The bolts that should be used to install the magnet brackets are only threaded half way on the bolt, which makes it difficult to tighten them 100%.3. The adjustment but on the back of the magnets should be way longer. However in this case they worked very well.4. My biggest problem with this product was the instructions. OMG this is the definition of vague. First off there truely is an error in the manual and only a technical person would realise it or else spend days if not weeks not realising the error. In my case the motor was attempting the opposite direction which the manual attem

Installed the opener on a 22 ft roller fence. Had to buy some extra chain but that was easy to find at Harbor Freight. They had it installed in 1 day. It doesn't like to work if it's REALLY cold out but who does! :) Other than that it performs well.

It's a little slow, at moving the gate. You should look at the power, and purchase the power for your need.

If you engage and disengage, make sure that when you disengage you don't over-do-it. If you disengage the motor with the tool provided, only go a couple of turns or until gate disengages. Otherwise, bolt inside will break.
