PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Designed with a 120V AC (1/2HP equivalent) motor, this gear driven sliding gate opener provides exceptional starting torque and continuous operation, making it ideal for most applications. Opens gates up to 2400 lbs and up to 40 ft. in length, 13 ft gear rack tracks is included; if your gates more 13 ft in length just purchase an extra racks in "Gear Racks" section.

“Ok for opening gates. We used it to open roof on a roll off astronomy observatory with very mixed results. It ^is very susceptible to engaging when lightning strikes nearby.”

“I've got this unit for only $119 like 3 months ago and I did installed it and have been using it for about 2 months and everything went so far so good and it ran my 15 feet wrought iron gate without any glitch, except for the remote control issues where one of the remote control seemed to already ran out of battery, considered it has been under some very light usage for about 2 months and I did contacted the seller and they did responded to my email with instruction and offered replacements so I am so far happy with it and ordered the second unit (this time I have to pay $199 since the $119 are all gone) for my rental property with a 13 feet wrought iron gate so hope I wont have to deal with the battery issue on this new one. I would have give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the premature dead remote control.”
