“Really enjoying my Aleko awning---a lot of value for what I spent!! Not hard to assemble, maybe a tad finicky in installing and adjustment, but not that hard when all is done. I assembled my own upright poles ( as they are forever on backorder ) out of 1" x 1" pine to take the strain off the arms when fully extended, and they work great. The dark green polyester fabric sheds water well, and seems very strong in light rain. I purchased the optional assembly cover for the winter months, so I can leave it up year round, without worry. Seems very well constructed and finished, and all mechanicals (manual) work quite smoothly. Sooooooo glad I went with Aleko, instead of the horribly overpriced Sunsetter. As a retiree, it fit the budget, and will be around for quite some time. Service and support are top-notch, and friendly, I I feel very confident in recommending Aleko to anyone out there looking for a nice retractable porch awning at a fair price. They're located in the USA as well, and are a family business, just like the days of old, Lololol. All in all, a great experience---don't hesitate. Tom Wolf”
