Included is an electric motor that easily opens or closes the awning within a minute. For economical purposes or in the case of no electricity, a simple hand crank is provided for manual retraction of the awning. Assembly is required. One-Year Warranty included.

“I like the awning very much. It works well and can be adjusted as depicted in the videos. The installation instructions need to be more explicit. More pictures to accompany the text would be much appreciated. After several times of taking it apart and reassembling it correctly my wife and I finally got to enjoy our labors. The staff at Aleko was super helpful. I would suggest that if you have any questions about assembly to be sure and call them. We also purchased the pole support kit which takes away the worry of brisk winds. It goes without saying that the great price was the icing on the cake.”

“The 20x10 motorized awning worked perfect for our deck. I was wary because I read some reviews that said it was hard to put together. I am a mechanic so knew I could get it done. Went together perfectly and worked great. Instructions were good.”

“There was 2 boxes they did not arrive on the same day together. I ordered a grey and white striped awning I got a grey I called the number was told I had to email them with pictures to prove it which I did on July 9 . The next day I received the hardware the box was open and one of the parts had a bend in. I again emailed the company with pictures on July 10. I as of today July 17. I have yet to heard from anyone.”

“Still working through the issue of wrong middle arm sent to me. Also the wrong part for the center support was sent through but only discovered after I had assembled the awning....and then had to take the whole thing apart. After several attempts I now have communication with the tech department but that also compounded the issues”
