“The awning is really nice and seems to be pretty good quality. It is not as heavy duty as some of the others I have purchased and this one will NOT handle wind like others but with some support legs attached it will work. However, they have obviously made changes to the design but have not update the assembly instructions. Some instructions were not clear enough to know what to do. Had to take things apart a couple of time and redo because they didn't say to do something or where to put it or when it was to be assembled or just completely wrong.”

“We had two men to install; this was their first time doing an awning install. Took portions of two days. They were contractors in building, but stated they wished they had done one before ours. The awning product appears to be a good product, but the motor did not work after using it for 10". Maybe need a better remote/battery. At least we can use the manual arm to retract and extend the awning! The install directions were not always clearly written. For example, description to roll awning fabric onto roller not clear. Needs to have more clarity in threading liner cords. Explanation for position of blockers not clear. Need more pictures on where to put things. I think if everything works as it's supposed to, and no direction glitches, I would give more stars.”

“we had received the package but when I did open the boxe, two main pieces were found demaged. we had call the customer services by Phone and many messages by e-mail was changed including Pictures of the demaged itens ALEKO, but till now now solution was presented to me. I´m desapointed.”

“I recently ordered and installed a 10'x20' retractable awning, and am happy with it. I would recommend looking up various YouTube videos, for help on the installation, as the installation directions are okay, but missing some important steps. Overall for the money it can't be beat!”

“Been looking for awhile for affordable awning for sunny deck. This fit the bill, works great and appears to be of good quality. Have only had it up for a couple weeks and use it daily. Bought the poles to hold the outside up as any wind would lift it. Should just include the poles on large awning like this (11x20). Think I made a great purchase!”

“Waiting for better weather to install----2 of 3 pkgs were delivered by FedEx and 8 days later the 96 lb pkg arrived. Considerable damage to both ends of the box and taped with pieces of cardboard added to close the hole from mishandling. 2 of the 3 bands around box were broken. At this time I do not know if parts are missing or damaged. I have pictures of the damage if you want them. FedEx driver was curt and rude at the time of delivery when questioning damage and delay in delivery. If you want more information call me 519 728 3102 or email pballay@sympatico.ca”
