Had a devil of a time programming this thing. The instructions were wrong and customer support had no clue. In case you're having trouble, try this: To program a remote--Press and hold the "learn" button of the receiver until the top LED turns off. Release the button. While the LED is off, press a button on a remote. The LED will come right back on solid and the remote will be programmed. Test it: one of the other two LEDs will come on when you press a remote button. To erase all the remotes: Press and hold the learn button on the receiver until the top LED turns off and then turns back on. Still holding the learn button, press a remote button. The LED will flash about 4 times then stay on. All the remotes will be erased.

I am purchasing a second one of these because for the price and better then trying to program 2 different garage door openers brands into a universal remote. I wired it in using the same wires from the outside keypad. only 4 stars because the range is short. I did take a 4 foot piece of wire and attached it to the antenna and ran that along the ceiling of the garage the helped greatly.

Works for me. Set it up on channel A in the first two connectors paralleled to the two wires of my preexisting garage button. I did splice in a 12V outlet power supply that was not included but I had laying handy. The remote was not preprogrammed to the unit, but was easy enough to do myself using the included instructions. The car's homelink was problematic initially using the instructions. I found that following the included homelink instructions and then following that with the same instructions I used to program the included remote, it worked! Just follow the included directions all the way to the end of the page. EXCELLENT!

in button for controlling a garage door opener. Unfortunately the car uses a now standard HomeLink communication method, which is not compatible with older garage openers. The Aleko device connects to the existing terminals on the garage door opener but communicates with the car using the HomeLink method. The supplied remote now operates the door as well as being needed to program the new car's button to work the door. Aside from finding a 12-24 Volt DC power source, installation is pretty easy. There is a downside, however--the range is pitifully limited only 20-30 feet. Even when using the car's button. As often happens you back the car down the driveway and as you turn on to the street you realize the garage door is still open. Unfortunately you are out of range to close it! With time I'm sure I'll begin to remember to push the button just after I get out of the garage, but it's very frustrating to have to pull back into the driveway just to close the door. But it's cheap!

Using 24vdc the first one I installed had about a 150' range, the second one had about a 10' range. After uncoiling the antenna it went 11'. On the small pc board where the antenna is, I removed a plastic sealer and adjusted a tuning screw and having a helper walk away while pressing button b for second relay. After maybe 1/4 turn range it went to 150' also. Both easily programed to homelink.

Very pleased with the speed of delivery but would like to highlight 2 issues. First our original intent was to get a motorized unit. It wasn't until it arrived we saw that as being an option. Secondly the instructions on both the awning and later the motor were difficult to follow. The slot was not machined properly which forced us to adjust. Installation was a very frustrating experience.

I used it on my motorcycle. Attached it to a part I can take off in inclement weather and washing. A 12 volt DC supply with 1 amp seems to work very well. It works to about 100 yards here but I have many power supplies to choose from. I do think it should at least list minimum current to operate.

Set this up to use on my motorcycle. Had to wire around power supply to make it work with craftsman garage door opener. Have to be very close to the door to make it work. Transmitter needs more power. Doesn't work from inside a car.
