This receiver is universal and works with any gate or garage door system. Just connect it in parallel according to the diagram and the garage door opening system will work with your existing switch/remote control as well as with new remotes.

“This remote works perfectly with my Overhead Door brand openers right out of the packaging. Make sure you just tap the button, not hold down, as on other style garage door openers. Very small, small enough to keep on a Vespa key chain.”

“We use this as our regular remote. It's much smaller, but it does come with a clip and you can keep it on your visor as you would a regular sized one. I personally like that it's smaller and takes up less room.”

“I'm not sure why people are complaining about the range for this particular remote. I purchased this an a replacement for as identical remote that was supplied with the opener. The range is great! I can open the door from well over 1/2 block away from my garage. It works just as advertised. If you're having range issues, locate the antenna wire (If your unit has one) and fully extend it. It's often shipped coiled up and gets overlooked at installation. Another "hack" to try is to add an additional few feet of wire to the antenna.”

“Easy to pair with my garage door opener (built in 2006). Buttons could be made more usable: they are not felt responsive and user friendly. You will need to use finger nail and press hard on them.”
