“my driveway and sometimes I had to remove it from the dash and aim it directly at the opener.The directions say to make sure you stand at least 5 feet away from the opener when you are programming the remote. Also, you cannot program all 3 buttons to work the same opener, which I was going to do, but no big deal. At this time I have only one garage door. I bought this model because it had better reviews than the 1-button remote and cost only a few dollars more.You barely have to press the button for it to work. There is a split second before the door starts to open so for that second you will probably think you didn't press it hard enough. It has worked every single time for me.Somebody has rated this review unhelpful. I can see where maybe it was not helpful to them because maybe it did not address their particular concerns.....but in my mind that's not "unhelpful"....more like neutral.....oh well.....maybe someone else will find this review helpful like most of my other reviews.....”

“Great replacement for an older Genie remote.I had lost one of two remotes that came with the opener.When I programmed this new remote, the old remote no longer worked. I used the instructions of the new remote to program the old remote at the same time as the new one and both work great now.This remote cost me about 30% less here than at the big box store.”

“Awesome product Wish it came with a little better instructions but I got through it. I had to buy a 12 volt power source but no big deal. It works great and has good distance. I am very happy for the price I paid”
