This receiver is universal and works with any gate or garage door system. Just connect it in parallel according to the diagram and the garage door opening system will work with your existing switch/remote control as well as with new remotes.

“Device works great. Very easy to program with my Overhead door garage openers. Good range too. I am able to open my garage door from at least four house lengths away.”

“I haven't used this much - I only bought it to program the one in my car. It does seem to have decent range and it was SUPER easy to program to the opener. I called Genie to make sure I was buying the right one. I do like that it comes with a visor clip but it also has the key ring. It seems to have a decent range, too.”

“Works great, although you can only program one button. The other one cannot be used for the same opener. Took longer to move the ladder and open the garage door opener access door than it did to actually program it. 30 seconds max.”
