“I was hesitant to order this because of all the mixed reviews. We just built a home and the builder only gave us one opener for a two car garage (naturally). Our opener is Genie brand, and this opener works perfectly. The install was so easy compared to other universal remotes. The range is great as well. It will open even when I am a few houses down the street.”

“This remote is very easy to program, but the range is very poor. When I am in my car, I have to be right in front of the garage door, with the car bumper within 10 feet of the garage door for the door to open. I have read similar reviews from others, so when I needed a new remote for my daughter, I purchased the "Linear GT-31 ACP00870 Genie Intellicode Compatible Gate and Garage Door Opener Keychain Remote". The price is the same, but the range is MUCH better, and the Linear GT-31 is actually a bit smaller.”
