This receiver is universal and works with any gate or garage door system. Just connect it in parallel according to the diagram and the garage door opening system will work with your existing switch/remote control as well as with new remotes.

“I called the Genie company with a technical issue....both of my old remotes would not open the garage door even after re-programming. He concluded that they were "shot" and needed to be replaced. I asked him what the replacement cost would be from Genie, and he said approx $40 each. I thanked him and immediately got on ALEKO to see if I could find replacement remotes for a more reasonable price....HENCE THIS PURCHASE! These babies work great....each and every time! If you need to replace your Genie remotes, I would strongly recommend you purchase this product...you will be so glad you did!”

“Easy to program - thought I would have a problem utilizing this with an old system, but took just a few minutes to sync the two! Compact and much easier to carry than the bulky old door remotes. Bought two a few months ago and both have performed flawlessly! Went back today to buy two more and was shocked to find that the price had almost doubled over the last 2 months - would love to hear the rationalization for this .......Simply ridiculous.”
