Chondromalacia – Patella Stabilizer
Our Chondromalacia – Patella Stabiliser is an open knee design with a neoprene circle pad around the knee, which also provides stabilization and protection to prevent displacement of the patella. Also, there are four straps which provide additional support directly to the patella. Ther are two spiral stays toward the middle of the support and lateral spiral stays providing further stability and support to the knee. Also, it helps relieve pain from tendinitis and arthritis. It also warms the knee joint by retaining body heat which increases circulation of the blood.
Fitting The Patella Stabilizer
Hold the support at the top with both hands, one on either side;
Place your foot into the of the support and pull the support up over the knee;
Ensure that the opening is positioned over the knee-cap
The lateral and medial stays should be on either of the knees;
There are two medial straps; one strap should go above the patella, and the other should go below;
Secure the straps to the lateral side of the knee and tighten until you get the compression level that you are after;
To secure the other side of the straps, repeat the above.
