“My cat has environmental allergies that causes awful skin itching and irritation, to the point that the skin "quivers" all over my pet's body! Atopica decreases this reaction quite a bit. We do have to administer steroids 1-2x/year, though, as Atopica + an antihistamine is occasionally not enough to quell the reaction. Also, the medicine tastes terrible - it even smells terrible. We have to "shoot" the medicine down cat's throat and follow with a small syringe of water to rinse it down before he spits too much of it out! No hiding this stuff in food....cat can smell it as soon as he enters the room!”
