“This medication is the ONLY medicine that works for my dog Cashy and Cayden. Cashy is a 55 pound Boston Terrier/Pitbull cross. This poor pooch wakes up chewing on himself everywhere he can reach. 1-2 hours after we administer his medicine (16 mg tab) he is calm and itch free, for the most part. I guess I shouldn't say itch free but a lot less uncomfortable as he was before the medicine and he will scratch every now and then but nothing like before. Both of my dogs take this medicine, but I don't have to give it to my 115 pound Pit bull/Mastiff cross as often. He takes 24 mgs.
This medicine has really been a god send. Nothing is more horrible than to watch your fur baby being so uncomfortable like he's trying to chew himself alive. It's terrible.
It's a great day for all of us after my furry friends take apoquel...
Thank you”
“My dog has been on apoquel for about 7 yrs and before that she was miserable scratching and causing infection on her skin multiple times. With many vet visits, a little over a year, and once she was old enough to have apoquel her life has a better quality for her. I can always tell if I've forgotten to give her pill because she immediately is scratching after 24hrs has passed since the last dose. This has greatly improved my dogs life and my wallet on vet visits!”
“This pill has worked so well for our wonderful Tiberius. He use to itch so much, our Vet. told us about Apoquel and we ordered it. Not even 24 hours I could see it working. I highly believe if your pet, is the same like ours. Order right away.”
“I have a Shih Tzu who had awful itching problems when we first got her. We tried to go grain free, we tried other products, but Apoquel is the only one that works. She gets a 1/2 a pill daily and during really bad allergy times I can safely give her a whole pill.”
“I was blessed with a rescue Pekingese. He's the best dog I've ever known. I'm an animal lover and hated to see him so miserable. His ears would even flair up and were scratched until bloody. After the first dose of Apoquel, we saw relief in his little face. I don't feed him chicken products anymore because food is the worst cause of allergies most of the time. As if you don't know, almost all dog foods and treats have chicken in them which upsets his digestive system, causing the big D and the itching was atrocious. Now, he gets half a tablet of Apoquel in the morning and he is good to go for the day. He gets homemade meals of turkey, sweet potato, green beans or carrots and he loves duck jerkey. It's wonderful to see him so happy and not mad at me anymore either for making him take Pepto Bismal for his yicky tummy from all the chicken garbage. He loves the homemade meals and even pumpkin pie once in a while is a healthy choice. I love my little guy and I know he's healthier due to the Apoquel too. Thanks for the autoship program too.”
“I have a whoodle who loves to roll around outside and also loves to scratch like crazy. I give him apoquel and it seems to help with his scratching quite a bit. I have tried to quit the apoquel, but within a few days he is back to scratching maniacally. Doesn't stop all scratching, but it helps a lot. I recommend.”
“During the summer months my dog constantly chews on her paws and her skin would get irritated. After a few days using Apoquel the chewing and itching stopped.”
“Thank heavens for Apoquel. My Lab mix has been using Apoquel for 6 years. Starting using after he scratched so much causing skin infections which turned into a bacterial infection spreading over his body. Unfortunately my dog has sensitive skin & can break out at a blink of an eye so having him not scratching as much is a blessing. I’ve spent hundreds & hundreds of dollars on skin infection medication, medicated shampoos & so on. Apoquel definitely is a great solution to help. I started him on 2 pills a day for few years then 1 pill for 3 years. I reduced him to 1/2 pill for the last 8 months & still have success. If I see he’s showing signs of scratching to much I can always increase the dosage. This is the instructions or plan that my Vet gave me to follow. The Vet said each pet obviously is different & to use my observations & judgement on whether to decrease or increase dosage. That’s also a good thing about Apoquel, being able to change dosage. But before anyone does this you need to discuss with your pet’s Veterinarian.”
