“Was using Trifexis for flea/heartworm prevention but really had trouble getting my dogs to eat it - it is very large and thick. I had to break up the tablet and mix with other enticing foods so I was never really sure they got the full dosage. This product may be a bit more expensive (and I have 4 dogs to buy for) but so much easier to use; worth the extra cost.”
“I used chewable tablets but they were to be taken with food. It took me so long to get my basset hound to take the tablet - that he percieved was 'medicine' and then try and get him to eat something other than something special like canned food that I just couldn't keep it up. Finally went back to Revolution. I had used it previously but changed because of a vet's recommendation. I used Revolution on two previous bassets who had long, wonderful lives and it worked well so I decided to go back to Revolution. It has always worked for my dogs. Plus it is significantly cheaper - if you can call any of these medicines 'cheap'. I appreciate the great prices Allivet offers. I couldn't find it any cheaper online or locally.
