“We purchased the Alphatrak 2 as a backup to one we already own and use on our diabetic westie. We found the readings to be more accurate than other meters and the additional features are useful. Only drawback is the cost of the strips but Freestyle Lite also work in the Alphatrak 2 and are less expensive. We make sure to use the original Alphatrak strips when doing a curve however.”
