“I have a large lab who has heart disease. She was diagnosed in May 2013 and the Vet wasn't sure that she would live more than 6 months. Vetmedin was prescribed along with Enalipril, and Amlodepine, and Florisimide. We have made adjustments to dosages to cut down on side effects and found that without the Vetmedin she does not do well at all. Happy to say she is hanging in there and still loves to go for walks, rides in the UTV, etc. I have no doubt that the Vetmedin has extended her life a year past the 6 month original diagnosis. She did have the side effect listed of Coughing, but with adjustments to dosage and time of day when have almost completely stopped the coughing.”
