“this product is great for areas that need to be kept dry, especially the ears and between toes/paw pads. My Great Dane's rear feet are almost always red and itchy because there is so much poison ivy/oak where I live, and even though I have him on a leash, SOMEHOW he manages to find a small patch and step in it! Washing his feet works but the constant washing and drying and irritation is ridiculous! this also works well on his chronic itchy ears (negative for mites/yeast), and any other moist wound. Note: if your dog can lick the area being treated it's not going to do you any good, same goes for any salve, ointment etc, common sense. I only say this because believe it or not some people think that because it's a powder that the dog won't lick it because it has a numbing agent in it (tetracaine). If you aren't in the room and watching your pet put an Elizabethan collar on or whatever your vet recommends. DO NOT APPLY A BITTERING AGENT SPRAY TO THE POWDER!!! :)”
