“My 9 year old Australian terrier has been suffering with severe and worsening dry eye for over 1 year. He was prescribed several lubricating eye drops, gels and ointments as well as tacrolimus--an expensive drop which was supposed to facilitate tear production. Intermittently he would require terramycin as he would routinely get eye infections because he would swipe at his eyes, rub his face into the carpet and drag his face/eyes across the couch in an attempt to remove the discharge and/or what ever product I just placed into the eyes. His tear production tests (Schirmer test) progressed from at best 9/25 and 4/25 R and L eyes, respectively, to Zero in both eyes. Last week my Vet gave me a free bottle of 'I Drop' that she received at a conference, stating 'It's worth a try...' At this visit she stated he had 'Bad corneal tears (not just abrasions)...What we've been doing (tacrolimus, lubricating OINTMENT and terramycin intermittently) isn't working. I had to keep my dog inside, out of the sun, shades down and went back to see her the following week as requested. The only products I used were an artificial tears drops, to LOOSEN the discharge so it could be removed more easily first thing in the morning. This was followed by the terramycin then 1 'I Drop.' He would go approximately 10 hours without any additional drops while I was at work. IN ONE WEEK HIS BAD CORNEAL TEARS WERE FULLY HEALED, my to the amazement of my Vet and to my joy!!!!! The 'I drops' have been the only real change in the regimen. I am so relieved and thankful for this product. My anxiety level is much reduced as I always felt like I had to rush home and not go do anything in order to care for my dog who was in pain because of his dry eye condition. If you have any doubt as to whether this product works I can unequivocally state yes indeed it does. Blink activated eyedrops, amazing.THANK YOU!!!!! Additionally, I have searched online and discovered there are huge differences and the cost of your product. Alli Vet is the least expensive. I appreciate that since it would appear my dog for me to be on this for the rest of his life.”
“My English Bulldog lost one eye due to dry eye and non stop ulcers. Her other eye lost the tear producing also, so I knew what path we were headed back down again. Desperate to try and save her eye, I tried this and also another artificial tear solution that my vet recommended. I-Drop is thicker, so it lasts longer, but is still an easy to use eye drop. She's so much more comfortable and although she still has days of some blindness, 98% of the time, this solution keeps her happy, healthy and helps me stay the same way! I have an illness that causes my body to shut down when under stress. This has taken so much stress off of us both! Reordering more now! Thank you Allivet!
