“My cats are brother and sister and they are both kind of always aware of their surroundings and ready to run. They're getting to be more trusting (after almost 2 years!) and calmer, but I wish they'd relax more, especially the female.”
“This is our last shot. We have literally tried everything and every method we could find to help, but to no avail. We are hoping that this will calm our 18 month male from terrorizing our 7 yr old female. This or we will have to do something I have never done with a cat before, and that would be to re-home him. “I used to rate these 5 stars ALL the way. However these collars have changed. A LOT. *I am not sure what Meridian has done to their collars, but these no longer work the way they used to.* 1) - They no longer contain the classic "pheromone carrier powder". When I first saw this I thought the collar was defective, but they are all like this. 2) THEY NOW HAVE FRAGRANCE ADDED!!! They used to have a teeny tiny bit of a smell. Now, there is a definite fragrance added. I CANNOT STAND THE SMELL! These collars make my Kitty a lap cat, yet I cannot stand the way he smells. :( 3) One collar used to last 3 (three), weeks. Now I am lucky if I get 11 days of efficacy. I mark my calendar every time I put one on him and I color code the clear portion as well. THIS DOES NOT MAKE MY WALLET HAPPY. 4) I have not received an answer to any of my questions from Meridian. Spending well over $300 dollars a year on their product apparently does not warrant an answer to my concerns in the very apparent changes to their product. Finally, I have tried all the other brands and diffusers. Still this is the only product that helps Kitty. 11 days or not, I refuse to let Kitty suffer and jump and flinch over everything. And I mean everything. Even snapping your fingers. I have been using these for 7 years. They have changed. About a year ago. grrrr.”
