“We have two indoor only cats and still got fleas! We attacked with a vengence, using veterinarian recommended products, including Advantage ll. For 5 very long weeks we vacuumed daily (including baseboards and furniture), hand washed all hardwood and linoleum daily, washed bedding daily, threw out all cat toys that could harbor fleas, removed a lot of furniture to make the process easier. We sprayed outside at least every two weeks, but still kept all doors and windows shut. We also sprayed Siphotrol or Knockout every week. We flea combed twice per day and the amount of fleas kept increasing. My pleading, frantic calls to the vet were patronized and unhelpful. Then, I called a different vet. They recommended Cheristin. We applied it last Friday and have not seen any live fleas on either cat. I'm just hoping it lasts, but finally feel we have our solution.”
