Cheristin for Cats Reviews

4.9 Rating 201 Reviews
I had been using Advantage and our cat lost hair at the spot of application. We changed to frontline which didn't seem to work very well. The vet told us to try Cheristin and we have been using it ever since. It is a bit sticky for two days but it doesn't irritate his skin and best of all NO MORE Fleas.

RECOMMENDED BY MY VET DUE TO SEVERE FLEA PROBLEM WITH OUR CATS. SIX INSIDE AND 2 OUTSIDE. TOOK ONE IN FOR SUDDENLY BECOMING EXTREMELY LETHARGIC AND NOT AT ALL HERSELF. THANK GOD I DID. SHE WAS SEVERELY ANEMIC AND HAD TO HAVE A BLOOD TRANSFUSION THAT NIGHT. OTHER FLEA REMEDIES WERE NOT WORKING AT ALL. STARTED WITH THIS AND IT WAS AMAZING. GAVE CAPSTAR FIRST AND THEN FOLLOWED UP WITH THIS PRODUCT. DID EACH OF THE 8 CATS AND THIS STUFF IS AMAZING. WILL DEFINITELY CONTINUE USING ON A MONTHLY BASIS.

I was hesitant to use anything other than Advantage 2 on my small blind cat or my 18 year old cat but I was just having so much trouble ridding us of fleas coming from all the wild critters wandering through our acreage. My CA vet told me about Cheristin and said it was working for his other clients. Along with the yard spraying, Bravecto for the dogs and foggers and sprays inside I tried this. Within 2 days I didn't find any sign of fleas on either cat inside and none since. WORKED GREAT! It's a little pricey but definitely worth it. And Allivet had the best price. The only complaint about the product would be that even though I parted the hair and tried to only put the liquid on the skin, it still got on the fur and after a day or so had a light chalky appearance. I combed the area a couple of times and pulled through the stiff areas and then it seemed to be fine. Not a big issue though considering it works so well on the fleas!!!

This is the greatest product for flea control. Especially here in FL where we have them year round. And Allivet has the best price!

I purchased my first application for $18 from my vet, and it worked great! Nice to know I can buy it from Allvet for about $12 an application. Well worth it for my cat's sake!

I bought the 1st dose from my vet for $19 because my cat was riddled with fleas! She said the other expensive treatments are not working as well so we opted for this one out of desperation. Just as promised, the fleas were dead within about 8 hours! A few days later we have found one or 2 fleas but we assume they are from larvae hatched in the house that she has picked up. They were easy to grab so I am guessing they were dying anyhow. She is not itching and has had no side effects like she did with the cheaper products. Her comfort and our peace of mind is worth the few extra dollars!

Apparently Advocate/Advantage doesn't work in the New Orleans area to fight fleas. My usual online cat meds store doesn't carry Cheristin, which is what my vet gave me to replace the Advocate.

Cheristin has been a lifesaver! Frontline Plus stopped work and this works like a charm. Allivet has the best price and fast shipping!
