“My dog Louie takes Trazadone to travel, it has been a great help. I would recommend giving it 4 hours before travel. The bottle says 2 hours, however we have found 4 hours works much better. We have a vacation house 2 hours away, when giving the medicine 2 hours before travel, Louie wasn't really calming down until we were almost there. We then decided to give it to him earlier, and it has worked great, we have a calm pup for the entire ride. One trip we were in an accident, shortly after leaving the house, and we were delayed by two hours, he was great, even after a two hour delay, and accident.”
“This works wonders to take care of our poor dogs anxiety from just about everything! He ha been so much calmer since we have started him on Trazadone”
“My dog has extreme anxiety. The vet prescribed this and it made a wonderful difference. Don't let your dog suffer like mine did with thunder and other loud noises. Nothing else worked fore”
“This really helps our blue heeler. She shakes with thunderstorms, fireworks, car rides and even the beep of a low battery smoke alarm. We try to prepare her with a low dosage several hours in advance of any known events (like a car ride to the vet or a vacation) then slowly increase the dose (up to the max) depending on how she seems. We also used it for treatment after spaying. She is very hyper and this really calms her down. The only side effect that I really see is that she gets a little "cranky" with our other pups so we use it only when really needed. Also, this is an excellent price!!! Our vet charges 4X as much!! (but at least they have them available on an emergency basis)”
“My dog has Sundowner/ dementia. She is gradually getting worse and needing more medication. It’s very hard dealing with this and getting her meds delivered helps greatly.”
