“We are sticking with Simparica for our American Bulldog. These breeds are notorious for having demodex mites and the Simparica has completely eliminated the problem. Since we need flea treatment anyway, Simparica is the equivalent of 2 birds/1 stone. Now that out dog is no, we could try another flea medication that does not also kill demodex but we have no need or desire to try something that may or may not work as well for fleas. I live in Florida in a semi-rural area. I have not found a single flea on my dog since using Simparica. Even though our dog HATES other medicines she easily takes this pill and thinks it is a treat.”
