“Yes, there is a global shortage of Percoten and I’m grateful to have an alternative; HOWEVER, I have always given my dog her Percorten shots very easily but Zycortal hurts her so bad, i’m going to have to take her to the vet for her next shot. This is a known side effect of Zyrcortal. I assume is some preservative or binding agent since the active ingredient is the same; regardless, it’s frustrating because it has traumatized my dog and now she is super anxious about getting shots. This was never the case with Percorten.”
