“Our beloved dog, Augustus, a pit bull, required joint surgery on both back knees at a young age. The knee joints had to be rebuilt for him to maintain the ability to walk. He has continued to walk, but has developed pain in those areas as he has aged. His vet put him on Gabapentin to help with the pain and Gus has been able to continue walking. Our dog understands the association between taking the medication and the relief of his pain. He never balks at taking the Gabapentin.”
