“Our dog Smartie has suffered from mild seizures since she was 6 months old. She had them rarely at first, once every 6 months or so and they didn't last longer than a few minutes. But a year ago they were getting more frequent at once a month - almost to the day - and they were definitely more severe each time. Our 'Best Friends' vet had already run tests to see the cause and had concluded it is epilepsy. So she was prescribed Levetiracetam XR.
