“I have used this on two different dogs of mine who have skin issues. One is my Pitbull who has skin issues and causes bumps and causes her to lose hair in spots. I have taken her to vet. It is not mange it just a skin prone problem to this specific breed. I can use it a few times a day or less as needed and it helps the bumps to go away and the hair to grow back. She also gets rash on her belly leading to her folds around private parts and at the crease under her tail. It helps to clear that up. I have to use that and the anti fungal/bacterial shampoo and it does not cure it but it does clear it if I use on a continual basis while keeping her moisturized between baths which can dry her out. I have gotten her the shot for itchy skin and it seems to help but is very expensive to do monthly considering it is based on weight and she is not fat but muscular. So my doctor recommended giving her Benadryl which I do if she is scratching continually.
The other thing is I live in very South Texas where it gets very hot during the summer and although she gets her monthly flea and heart worm supplements which cover ringworm/mange I live in a sand based ground. The brother to her has the same issues. I discovered through much trial and error to get to this conclusion. So yes I rate this with 5 stars because used often it grows back hair quickly then I don’t have to do as often. I know if anyone else goes through this with their fur baby it can be very difficult to watch and I felt hopeless until I found a routine because I cannot afford to go through all kinds of allergy testing. Some people remark if you lived your dog you would pay anything, I just don’t have the resources to shoot blindly for a solution that may not even be traceable in the end.”
