“My cat Ashley was diagnosed Diabetic this June 15th. It's been a learning experience, expense & change to our routine. But she's a million times worth it. There are other Insulins available my Vet said, but this is the one my vet said from his experience I should use. It seems a little harder to find than others. But I'm going with what my Vet feels confident about. Ashley has been on Vetsulin for 2 weeks. She will have her 2nd Blood Glucose curve tomorrow. The 1st one was to see where she was starting out at. Glucose level was 475. Oh my Gosh! She is on 1ml Vetsulin 2 times a day now. She has to loose 10 lbs. Doctor said he suspected she would go to 2ml but we will start out at 1ml. She has done very well on it. Takes the shots like a trooper. No negative reactions. Will see what test brings tomorrow but I have high hopes. I feel good about her taking Vetsulin, so far.
