“The poles are easy to assemble/disassemble and feel quite sturdy. There's a little play in the joints when fully assembled but not enough to affect their performance on the one outing (snowshoe hike) where I've used them. When I put a fair amount of weight on them to brace myself, they held up well without bending. So far, I'm very happy with them.”
