“The coating is good. It's just paint although K-Rend call it a coating. As such it goes on like normal smooth masonry paint. As instructed I found a long pile roller works best and it retains the original texture of the render when dry. I also diluted the paint, although not as much as the instructions say. I put half a litre of water in the tub to start with and found that was OK. I was also surprised how much coverage I got, although my walls had already had a coating of a different type previously so are likely to be less porous than render that has not previously been coated. Finish was very consistent when dry, even though I applied it in warm weather.”
