“I am very disappointed in my recent purchase of two pairs of Wearever French Terry Sweatpants. I bought my first few pairs over ten years ago and they were of great quality and lasted for years. About four years ago, I bought two new pairs and immediately realized the same brand I had purchased before was now thinner and of poorer quality. I just purchased two new pair of the same ones I’ve purchased in the past and they are now paper thin. It’s unfortunate that over the years, despite the prices going up, the quality has significantly gone down.
Given the option, I would much rather pay a reasonable amount more for a great quality product than pay slightly more for a poor quality product. As a former business owner, I would have contacted your manufacturer and not accepted such poor-quality items. I would have paid at least 20% more for a product similar to what I purchased 10 years ago.
I’m disappointed in myself for not reading the reviews as I would have seen that these sweatpants are worthless. However, having owned multiple pairs of these sweatpants in the past, I figured at worst, they would be the same substandard quality they were last time; I never imagined they would be worse. To me, selling such poor-quality items reflects poorly on American Tall and I will no longer be doing business with your company.”
