“I'm doing this review on behalf of my husband. The feature that takes away from the quality of the blazer are the sleeve cuffs. The button holes are fake, with one on each sleeve cuff having white stitching, & the buttons are sewn on the outside surface of the fabric! I have never, ever seen this before on a jacket, & it cheapens the overall look of the blazer. WHY would you do this?”
“I needed a sport coat to attend a family wedding. Found a very nice one on the American Tall site and ordered it based on their size recomendations. Fit is good, sleeve legnth is great, usually don't have a good fit right of the box, but it's spot on. The sleves are a bit tight, if I start going to the gym again they may be too tight to look good. Jacket length is good for my height, was comfortable the entire evening.”
“This fits perfect without tailoring. I am 6'5, 265lbs, I got the XL Tall and it fits perfect. No complaints on the color either, it looks great with the khakis and light blue button up.”
“The good: the fit on these is fine & the fact that they’re available, that one doesn’t have to pay a premium for bespoke jackets, that’s fantastic. Room for improvement: tall people often have to pay a premium for longer clothing, but these are priced *even lower* than most regular-fit jackets. I wish AT would just improve the quality (eg, a full lining, pocket flaps), even if it means charging a bit more. That said, I’ve ordered three of these; they’re kinda cheap but useful & hard to pass up. I guess it depends on who AT wants to be, the marketing perception they’re aiming for.”
