“I needed something that could double as backstage apparel (black) for our dance studio and something to do yoga and dance in. These are comfortable, don't seem to pull in weird directions, and will definitely serve my purpose. The weight is good and you can't see through them, so yay! They may extend biking season for me. Also a win. Pocket is nice (my other tall leggings don't have pockets). I would consider getting these again in another color. These may be the least expensive pair of tall leggings I've ever gotten.
On the downside, I would definitely go with the extra tall next time, as these are just BARELY long enough. If you have a 36" inseam, the size chart is wrong in directing you to the tall.
My other complaint is that these are high-waisted (much more so than they looked in the images), and I loathe high-wasted anything. In order to ease these over your hips (even if they are relatively slender and in keeping with size according to the chart) you will hear the complaint of several stitches as they surrender to their doom. This is a common problem with high-waisted pants. They also make me look even MORE disproportional (which is not a look I embrace). I have the joy of having almost all my height in my legs, and a normal sized body. The waist sits a couple inches below the band of my sports bra, providing the illusion that my legs come up to my armpits. It's definitely "a look". I expect I will be folding down the waistband when I wear these in the future. This does make me less likely to purchase other pants because you can't fold down the waistband of your jeans the same way.
On a side note I do get that many women want high-waisted apparel for shaping and to avoid the dreaded muffin top, but I just can't be bothered by my "mummy tummy" and squishy bits.”
