“I have traded a few times using the app. I find it a bit too cluncky, meaning too many buttons and hard to manage an active trade on it. Also, I don't see the option to do OCO orders on it. This might be my fault for not learning the app. I wish it operated like a mini Quantower. Additionally, scrolling around in the charts is not fun either. I am not really sure how to fix that.
What I do like is that it is a mobile app, and it allows me to see the market in advance of taking a trade on my laptop. Also, if I lose power or internet, it is available as a backup.
Having to re-auth every time I switch apps get tedious but I understand it from a security point of view.
That's all I can think of right now. I like the app in general, but it needs to be reworked. I am happy it exists and does not cost extra to have it.”
“I’ve been using CQG desktop, & CQG mobile for 7 months now. It’s been great I have a live account, and a demo account. The trading experience within these platforms are like no other in my opinion. Never once had a problem logging in, and never got logged out while on my LIVE account. In a traders world that’s very important. The executions are great. Never had a problem sending orders. I really love how you can call CQG, and talk to them about anything. I once had a problem getting a demo account, I called them and within a minute I had a demo account. Great customer service!! On the other hand, CQG desktop and mobile should have more trading tools, one thing that I cannot change in CQG desktop is the background. I want it pitch black and the background options says “ dark system” but is actually gray. Lastly there needs to be a desktop download for CQG desktop!! Literally the only two things that stick out to me that I slightly dislike. Other than that, CQG desktop & mobile is the perfect platform for me. CQG needs to get more recognition!! Why use tradovate, ninja trader, E*Trade pro, and interactive brokers? ;)”
