The 4 chart limit is very annoying it would be much better if that was eliminated so you can have as many charts as you like.

Good functionality, sufficient trading "tools", easy to use, but would like to be able to place or amend orders outside of market hours

The Good: Qtrader with CQG data makes for clean, consise information. The Bad: Chart trading is difficult and not intuitive. Moving Stops on the DOM is challenging. I have made so many trading mistakes by hitting the wrong key/mouse button in a fast moving market trying to move an order on the DOM, it causing mental strain and financial loss. Placing orders should be second nature, but this platform doesn't provide that kind of confidence. Only having access to 4 chart tabs is annoying and then only being able to view 1 at a time, augh! What I hate is not being able to view all 4 charts at the same time. Not being able to compare either 4 different symbols at the same time, or viewing 1 symbol on multiple time frames is incredibly frustration. Just unlock the 4 charts, looking at the cqg blogs this is the biggest request, and then be able to link each chart by time frame and/or symbol would be a bonus. Changing time frames is not easy or intuitive, at least support guided me through setting up time frame hot keys which helps. Tick data settings are hard to figure out. The In-Between: While I appreciate CQG's long history in the markets, this seems to have led to "our way, and thinking is best" is really limiting the reach to newer traders. Because of these Qtrader platform limitations, and moving to the CQG IC platform is not an option (cost prohibitive), I have started looking at moving to TradingView as an alternative to Qtrader, which kills me to think, but there are so many 3rd party vendors that offer technicals, scanners and forecasting tools, it must be considered. Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback

Great: Execution Speed, Refresh rate. In my opinion only 2nd to TT in terms of execution Bad: Only 1 chart, I have to rely on a second software specifically for Charting

QTrader is essentially a stripped down version of CQG Integrated Client. It is a great product for those who want a professional level product directly from a quality data provider like CQG. The only ask I have from CQG is to make the documentation in both the help section of QTrader and the "what's new" section clearer as to what features are available exclusively to Integrated Client vs available to both QTrader and IC.

QTrader was a very good choice for me. It has many variables so you can set up how YOU want to see things. However, that may mean that it will be a bit harder to learn all that you can see in QTrader. I also changed over to get my fees charged directly through CQG so I can get Equities charting and tick data.
