“It may take some time to learn to use the platform, however the orders filled effortlessly with barely any slippage is the best I have seen. The fees are also affordable day trading margin makes this a no brainer.”
“An amazing platform, that includes all the important features that are included when you are an Amp futures customer, Delta, Market Profile, VWAP etc. I've traded using Ninja, Tradingview and Tradestation and I much prefer Quantower over all of them, for ease of use, tools inlcuded (again if you an Amp customer) Such a smooth solid platform, never any hiccupps, it just works as it should!!”
“This is a good platform to trade on. I trade orderflow so I'm mostly solely the DOM. It has a lot of industry standard features such as a built-in trade copier, a quota board (useful for rollover weeks), the ability to backup your data. There are many more and some are locked behind a pay wall but I'm an AMP client. I do think it has it's limitations in weird area's. It's back testing/replay function is unusable. Especially if you want to backtest the day on the Dom it doesn't have the data and if you want to use any volume related tools which they call volume analysis, it won't have the data either. Even if you wanted to trade on a minute chart, it won't necessarily have all of the days loaded. Also the simulation or trade Sim is locked behind a paywall. So if you wanted to not risk your account for the day and just trade on Sim you cannot do that. While this platform has a bunch of customization features, they are hidden deep within menus, which makes the user-friendly UI difficult to navigate. As far as placing trades on the Dom, it's inability to know that if I'm placing an order above market, I don't necessarily want a market order. I may want a limit order and vice versa. If I'm in let's say a short position and I place an below market I don't immediately want to be marketed out of my position. Some quarks here and there but I do think it is a good platform.”
