SierraCharts is a great package - with clear easily customisable chart settings. It's locked into a Windows 95/XP style generation of platform, so not as initutitive as a new user would expect, but once configured it is clean and reliable. I use the software on two pc's depending on where I am working, and am able to share chart settings easily so that an update on one pc auto updates the other via my server. I'm sure that I don't use 10% of the capabilities - but for my style of trading, I'm very happy that I chose it.

I have been using SierraChart for about last 10 years. Apart from checking other platforms along the way, SierraChart I believe is the best solution for discretionary trading. Very reliable, own data, routing. I have also used the ACSIL automation. Probably the best solution a retail trader have nowadays

Sierra Chart is a top notch trading application. I honestly do not think it can be beat for price, performance, and configurability. You can pretty much create any feature you desire/require. The one drawback may be that because it is so powerful and configurable, it can be a little "technically overwhelming". There is some learning curve when getting started. Probably not a great fit for the "technically challenged".

Sierra Chart is awesome. It is the only platform that does everything I need and it does it well. Love the ability to totally customize market and volume profiles, footprint charts and depth of market. Yet to find a limitation.

I have used Sierra Chart since 2011 and really like how it functions. It's fast, stable, and has all the functions and studies I need for free. The only real gripe I have is with the graphics; I wish they looked as good as Tradingview. It takes a little time to get used to using Sierra Chart because of all the settings you have control over. Once you set it up it never needs to be changed. A very useful feature of any platform is the backtest feature. Sierra Chart lets you backtest as far back as you like on any time frame you want without having to pay extra and works in real time. If you want to be able to copy trades to multiple accounts at one prop firm you can do that without any lag ( I use rithmic). Only downside is that you have to have multiple instances of Sierra running to be able to connect to multiple prop firms. Which means if you have 3 prop firms with 1 or more accounts you have to place that order on 3 separate trading DOMs. You can get around this with an auto mouse click program. Also, the fee you have to pay for the platform and data feed seems to be climbing ever so slowly. But $40 (middle tear) is not too bad for having a platform that never crashes, is quick to connect to your accounts, loads multiple charts across multiple monitors very quickly, and remembers the window positions. One thing you can not do is trade on your phone, so if you need that, this is not the platform for you.
